About the Project

At Altspace, the objective from the beginning was clear: build a strong organic presence in a highly competitive coworking market through a content-first SEO and GEO strategy. The company aimed to position itself as a credible voice in modern work culture while attracting high-intent users searching for flexible workspace solutions.

With no budget allocated for external promotion, the entire growth approach focused on strategic blogging, editorial-quality content, technical SEO, and long-term search visibility.

A parallel goal was to ensure Altspace appeared not only in traditional Google search results, but also within AI-powered discovery systems through GEO (Generative Engine Optimization). As AI-generated answers, AI Overviews, and LLM-based search experiences increasingly influence how users discover brands, visibility within these ecosystems became an important part of the strategy.

We were tasked with building a search-optimized content ecosystem, refining the website’s technical structure, improving on-page performance, and producing high-quality editorial content capable of ranking on the first page of Google based entirely on relevance, clarity, and topical depth.

Challenge

Altspace coworking space entered a saturated coworking market where many competitors relied on repetitive, surface-level content that rarely addressed the actual concerns users have around productivity, hybrid work, focus, collaboration, or workspace flexibility.

Competing against established websites required a strategy built on topical authority and content depth rather than content volume alone.

The challenge was to:

Solution

We developed and executed a unified SEO and GEO framework designed to strengthen Altspace’s visibility across both traditional search engines and emerging AI-powered discovery systems.

1. Business-Driven Search Research

The project began with a detailed analysis of coworking-related search behavior, focusing on how people evaluate workspace environments, productivity expectations, hybrid work routines, collaboration needs, and flexibility requirements.

This research shaped the editorial direction of the website and ensured every article addressed real user intent rather than isolated keyword targets.

Instead of producing generic coworking content, the strategy focused on practical, behavior-driven topics connected to how modern professionals actually work.

2. Editorial-Grade Content Strategy

We built a consistent long-form content program centered around themes including:

Each article was structured using clear H1-H4 hierarchy, semantic topic relationships, contextual internal linking, and search-oriented formatting designed to improve both readability and crawlability.

The goal was not simply to publish content frequently, but to establish Altspace as a credible editorial source within the future-of-work conversation.

3. Technical SEO Foundation

The website structure was refined to align with modern search performance standards and improve overall crawl efficiency.
Key improvements included:

These updates created a technically stable foundation capable of supporting long-term organic growth and stronger page discoverability.

4. GEO (Generative Engine Optimization), AI Search Visibility & LLM Optimization

A major strategic objective was ensuring Altspace content could appear within AI-generated search environments, including AI Overviews, LLM-powered assistants, conversational search systems, and AI summarization tools.

To support this, we implemented a dedicated GEO-focused optimization layer that included:

As a result, Altspace began appearing as a referenced source in AI-generated responses related to topics such as:

This extended Altspace’s visibility beyond traditional SERPs into emerging AI-driven discovery ecosystems, strengthening both SEO and GEO performance simultaneously.

5. First-Page Ranking Growth

Through consistent content publishing, semantic optimization, and technical SEO execution, Altspace achieved first-page rankings for multiple competitive coworking-related search queries.

Organic impressions, click-through rates, and overall search visibility increased steadily over time, demonstrating the effectiveness of a content-led SEO and GEO strategy built around quality, clarity, technical precision, and topical authority.

The project established Altspace as a recognizable voice within the coworking and future-of-work space while expanding visibility across both traditional search engines and AI-powered search experiences.
